Herbs have been used forever for many different things. The magickal realm of using herbs is just another way to say that you are making a tea that has been infused with magickal energy. As an example: You are having trouble sleeping, so you drink a tea made from chamomile and lavender with a touch of spearmint. As you are infusing this tea, you are focusing on what the purpose of the tea is: to calm you and to relax you so you can get a good nights sleep. You drink the tea and fall into a wonderful restful sleep, having beautiful colorful dreams.
Many cultures uses herbs in medicine bags. They believe that if you carry around certain herbs, you are also carrying their energy. As an example: you are planning on going on a trip and along with your prayers of protection you want to carry a little something extra, so you put some nettle and mugwort into a medicine bag and keep it in the car with you.
I do not sell herbs that can not be ingested. I use many of these herbs everyday for one thing or another. If you follow your intuition and research what you are wanting the herbs for, your answers will come and you will get the confirmation that you are seeking.
To make an infusion: Bring about quart of distilled or spring water to a boil. Pour the water over 1-2 teaspoons of the herbs you have choosen. Cover the container and let it set for about 15 minutes. Strain the herbs and add a little honey if that is what you desire and enjoy! All of my herbs are sold in a 3 x 4 zip lock bag that averages out to be about 4 oz. of loose herb.
